My last name rhymes with "books".
It means "fox" in German.
I am a PhD candidate in the Philosophy Department at Brown University. Currently, I am also a Sawyier Predoctoral Fellow at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
My main interests lie in ethics and moral psychology. Further fields of interests include Non-Western ethics, Kant's practical philosophy and the history of modern philosophy in general. My research so far has focused mainly on the nature of well-being, and the role of emotions in morality and motivation. When I am not pursuing my research interests or my passion for teaching, I enjoy spending time with these two.
